The longer you linger the more the hoard builds until you’re completely outdone. If there’s no way you can get to where you’re going without putting up a fight, then of course, slam those zombie skills into the pavement, but do you best to avoid hanging around in one spot trying to kill all the zombies coming your way. The zombies generally move a lot slower than you do and so in many cases you can avoid an altercation by simply circle around furniture or dodging them. While in some games it’s a good idea to fight with all your might, in Death Road to Canada, it pays to be a wimp. As a general rule, get in, get out, and then hit the road. The longer you stay in a building, the more zombies start headed there and they can form a mob behind you pretty quick. For example, if you take a quick scan of a bathroom and there are no sparkling cabinets or toilets with closed lids, there is nothing of value there so just skip it. However, take one step in, quickly survey the space and if you don’t see any supplies, don’t waste time fighting zombies in there. Try Every Room But Don’t Go In All Of Them – Ok so this may sound contradictory, but what I mean is, you should definitely open every door in a house. If you are in a house and there is a door that sparkles, that too indicates its somewhere you haven’t been yet. You’ll miss a lot of good stuff if you don’t. Tap On Anything That Glimmers – Whether you’re in a junkyard or the Ya’ll Mart if a cabinet, car or other object sparkles, make sure to go tap it and grab whatever loot is inside. It usually manages to put a zombie entirely out and saves your weapon if it has a short life. As a general rule, if there is something I can throw like a chair or box, I pick it up and chuck it. Throw Anything You Can – You can’t choose which weapons (if any) you’ll be equipped with when you first start the game, and some of them don’t yield great results. While we’ll readily admit, we haven’t managed to beat the whole game yet, we have made some pretty successful runs that last 10 days or more. The game quickly sucks you in and will become an obsession, despite the fact you’ll die more times that you can count along the way.
